Polydioxanone

Polydioxanone or PDO knotless suture lifting for facial rejuvenation.

Polydioxanone-pdolift

PDO threads are absorbable or non-permanent sterile sutures non-surgical face rejuvenation. With minimal risks compared to a face lift or neck lift, PDO lift is effective and safe. Polydioxanone threads are especially suited for fine wrinkles, facial and neck sagging and deep folds.

Less invasive with minimized downtime, there is little self after care following the procedure. Sagging tissues and skin lift and tighten without scalpel surgery.

PDO or Polydioxanone was introduced in the 1980s and are widely used today for subcutaneous surgery in medicine proving their safety record as very safe.

Polydioxanone or PDO knotless suture lift the skin and stimulate repair mechanisms. They release growth factors thus stimulating and energizing fibroblast cells to release procollagen protein filaments that produce collagen.

Skin quality is improved as PDO threads are placed in the subdermal skin reversing aging effects such as sagged skin, deep creases, folds and wrinkles.

Threads are absorbed, dissolving naturally over a few months but effects last longer than standard dermal fillers.

Indications for PDO sutures include flabby skin of the face, cheeks, eyebrows, and neck skin.

Fine lines of the cheeks, horizontal lines around the mouth, laugh lines are all treated. The procedure is safe with minimal discomfort.

Other facial areas treated include sagging forehead, horizontal and vertical forehead lines, sagging eyebrows, naso-labial folds, jaw and marionette lines, and creases of the cheeks.

An added feature of PDO threads are immediate and long lasting effects. The best candidates for this procedure are those patients with a modest degree of facial soft tissue laxity. After a few treatments results last for 2 years.
